When setting up a custom chimney cap, it is important to ensure that the metal is of great quality and the structure is built properly. Our metal comes pre-finished with a flat-black baked enamel finish to prevent early rusting & corrosion. This prevents the requirement for re-painting as frequently or as soon.

We also incorporate spark guards on chimney toppers, which will prevent still-burning air-borne pieces from getting into the atmosphere and perhaps falling over on your rooftop or any other flammable items. Chimney tops also prevent downdrafts when it is particularly gusting outdoors.  There are some chimney caps that could even increase the chimney's capability to updraft.
